HARWICH ANGLING CLUB IS SITUATED IN THE NORTH EASTERN CORNER OF ESSEX

We have a 3.5 acre mixed fishery lake in the village of Bradfield and 2 miles of Dock River near Harwich.

NEW MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION FORM

If you are renewing your membership and none of your personnal details, including your car's details have changed, you do not need to complete a new membership form. Just send your existing membership card and payment to the Membership Secretary.

Please do not leave litter on club waters, take it home.

Members please read the club’s new Health & Safety document; Peter Standing has produced this document as part of the Angling Trust and our insurance company’s latest requirements.

If any members have photos of catches made this year can the please sent them to me along with the location, date, bait used and any other useful information as I am up dating the web site Gallery, as many of the current photos on the Gallery are very old.

Bradfield Lake

Dispite the low water level,the lake is fishing well for carp & silver fish.


Graeme Peck Crucian Carp 16-9-2018.

Graeme Peck was float fishing with his Dad on Saturday for silver fish, so this was a surprise to say the least!
Caught using a float, with 5lb line, a size 12 hook and a single red maggot. From the damn side of the lake.


Paul Southgate 23lb 15-6-2018.

Duncan Wrigley Comman Carp 3-4-2018 Duncan Wrigley Mirror Carp 3-4-2018

Duncan Wrigley caught these 2 carp 3rd April 2018 on telescopic rods and 12lb mono with a single boilie wafting near the reeds.


Harold Griffiths 9lb silver fish 18-4-2018

Harold Griffiths caught 9lb of roach, rudd, perch and hybrids on April 18th 2018 on the dam using maggots and sweet corn.


Dock River

Dock river has a very dense covering of weed at present, the committee have askd the EA to clear some of the weed for the club.
